The PlayStation Network has been full of gamers during the holiday season, and the network remained online. However, most users turned on their PlayStation today to an offline PlayStation system; due to a PSN outage. When a device such as a PlayStation fails to connect online, most users would first check their Network Settings to see if their device is connecting to the Internet. However, you should first use any device to check the PSN Network Online Status webpage before doing so. The service remained offline for most of the day leaving most users out of luck and without any reason, but was later restored towards to latter half of the day. It would be great if PlayStation would consider a status update notification for users in the future, either by mobile or email. I’m sure PSN user’s would appreciate such a courtesy.
